Height Adjustment

Schutt offers an inferior height adjustment mechanism. It only adjusts in 4" intervals and cannot be adjusted infinitely like the Hoops Pro Dunk line. Adjustment is awkward because you have to bend over to cock a huge adjustment sleeve. They system will only adjust down to 7' compared to the Pro Dunk industry low 5'.

Aesthetics

The height adjustment mechanism juts far from the main pole making the system take up several feet more space than the Pro Dunk Systems. The backboard requires 4 vertical support arms cluttering up the clear backboard. The system is while making it an eyesore in anybodies driveway. This is be far the least aesthetically pleasing system we have encountered.

Safety

The Schutt basketball goals do not come with any padding. This is a very big safety hazard on adjustable systems like these. One could easily hit their head on the sharp backboard corner, run into the hard pole or fall onto the extruding base bolts. All Pro Dunk systems come with a full padding set at no extra charge. You get backboard, pole and gusset padding FREE!
