Height Adjustment

Porter Big Shot basketball goals will only adjust down to 7'. Hoops Pro Dunk goals will adjust all the way down to 5' making it perfect for young and experienced players alike.

Backboard

The Big Shots only come with softer plastic acrylic backboards in contrast to Hoops gym quality temered glass backboards. The glass backboards are four times as heavy and much more durable. Acrylic boards develop a clouded look after a few years due to scratches on the plastic from ball grit, wind, etc. Glass will stay crystal clear for the life of the goal just like your car windshield.

Stainless Steel

Porter Big Shot basketball hoops do not come with stainless steel fasteners. This means over time, rust streaks (impossible to remove) and erosion will take place. Hoops systems stay erosion free for the life of the system. You'll never see unsightly rust streaks down your crystal clear backboard.

Safety

To keep the most demanding and young players as safe as possible, Hoops gives a full padding set to you with the purchase of a Pro Dunk basketball goal absolutely FREE! Porter charges you up to $400.00 for this padding. Hoops also has throws in gusset padding which Porter does not even offer. This protects players from rolling their ankles and falling onto the protruding anchor bolts and gussets.
