Adjustable

The best Playmaker hoop will only adjust down to 6' 6" while the Pro Dunk systems all adjust down to 5'. This is perfect for youngsters and demanding players alike. Let your child grow into your new basketball system with a Hoops Pro Dunk System.

Backboard

Playmaker basketball hoops are only available in softer acrylic backboards. Hoops offers their whole line of adjustable basketball hoops in gym quality tempered glass. These offer more durability and better play. The acrylic boards become cloudy over time due to microscopic scratches from gritty balls and being wind-blown. They are also 4 times lighter than the tempered glass backboards. This makes the glass boards rebound much more like gym backboards.

Padding

Playmaker charges up to an extra $245.00 for their padding set which does not even include gusset padding. Hoops offers their whole set at absolutely no extra charge. This includes pole, gusset and backboard padding. The gusset padding protects players from palling onto or tripping over the anchor bolts.

Stainless Steel

All Hoops basketball systems come with stainless steel fasteners. This makes the system more durable by preventing erosion and keeps the system looking good forever. You will not have to replace bolts or scrub rust streaks from your clear backboard with Hoops' systems.
